FESTIVUS 10s "Rugby for a cause"

This past hurricane season has taken its toll on a lot of us.  Many of us have been unable to practice let alone play games this season, while there are others in Florida who situation is far more dire – they find themselves without the resources to celebrate this holiday season. 

This is a chance for all of us to play and help a family in need.  Saturday, December 17th we will be hosting a 10-a-side rugby charity event, with ALL of the proceeds going towards a Florida family in need – the money will go towards a holiday meal, gifts, maybe a months rent – it all depends on the money raised. 

There will be media coverage and each club participating will be provided with a write-up detailing whom and what the money raised went towards.

• WHAT:          A day of 10-a-side rugby for charity
• HOW:            $100 per team (pre-pay), $150 per ($10 per player) at the pitch with ALL proceeds going towards a needy family for the holidays.   
• WHEN:          Saturday, December 17 th , 9:45 Captains Meeting, 10:00 kickoff – Festivous celebration following.

From I-95 or the Turnpike, take the Southern Blvd exit.  From I-95 head west, from the Turnpike head east.  Take Congress Ave south, take a right on Gun Club and the Park will be up on your right hand side.

Festivus celebration following at location yet to be determined.
