Coaching courses

Florida needs coaches - sadly these are far away but if you want to qualify……… and remember your Union will pay the fee upon qualification.

Important to note that the old coacjhing qualifications are no more, so those that are “level one level two” claimants are not any more. Need to update and take the new modules if you want to remain qualified.

Introducing Rugby - This course is designed for coaches that spend most of their time introducing the game to new players. It is ideal for high school head coaches and college and club assistant coaches. The focus is being able to implement the fundamentals of the game to players that have little or no experience.

Developing Rugby Skills - This course is designed for coaches focused on working with players with experience and aspiring to help those players play at a higher level. The course work is ideal for head coaches and those that are involved in club and all-star play. There is an emphasis on identifying key factors, practice planning, game sense and skill development.
