USA Women’s National Team competing in Florida
The USA Women’s National Team will be competing against Canada on
January 12 and January 16 in Lakeland, FL. It would be great to get
some fans out there. Many of us traveled to watch the US men play in
November and this is another great opportunity to support your
national team (plus, I think it’s free!). The US Women usually place
in the top 6 and won the first world cup in 1991.
Here are some details from the usarugby website:
Both Atlantic Cup matches, which provide crucial first steps in the
team’s preparation for the Women’s Rugby World Cup, are set to kick
off at 3 p.m. (EST). The USA Under-20 Women will also face off in a
curtain raiser match against the Canada U-20s on Jan. 16 (kickoff -
1:30 p.m. EST).
