A gentle reminder for all,that the Pelican hosted Annual Gulf Coast 7’s tournament is being held at Lakewood Sports Complex St Petersburg, on Saturday July 11th

Club 7’s Championships
In 2009 USA Rugby South will present TWO clubs into the National Club 7’s Competition for both Men and Women.
The Super Qualifying Tournament to determine those clubs will be hosted by the Columbus/Fort Benning RFC in Columbus, GA on July 18, 2009. Make your plans to attend, now.

Great news for Florida Rugby: Young Rugby Academy of Florida 19yr old Brendan Gray who played his pre-season in the UK for Moseley D-1 last year, 4 years for the Rugby Academy of Florida Thunder U19’s All Stars and is also on the USA U20’s National pool is selected for North Otago in New Zealand [...]

Sadly our collegiate coach Greg van der Grift is heading back home to Oregon with
a job move and we shall lose his services.
Greg took over at a difficult time and has patiently given the program and the select

A Travel team organise by Taravella Trojans and Naples Bears is heading to Pittsburgh again later this month to Compete in the Challenge Cup youth tournament. The tour is managed by Donny Stramanack of Taravella and Coached by Jeff Oxenrider, Steve Young, Bill Marts and others.

Congratulation to the Boys and Girls who repsensented Florida at the Charlotte Youth Festival last weekend.
Florida U19 boys placed second losing the final to a very strong NC home team.
Florida U19 girls we’re similarly successful, placing second.
